Here is your chance to get in the kitchen with the Queen of Jam Making – Kim Osterhoudt of Jams by Kim (www.jamsbykim.com).  You will prepare the fruit and create a seasonal Jam with Kim. Bring your apron because you will be making your jam and filling your jar to take home with you at the end of the night. You will learn about the history of canning and how Kim grew her love of making Jam into her business – Jams by Kim.

Watch the new/old technique of felting wool with Suzanne Pease, designer of Wearable Art. Learn what it takes to make beautiful cowls, scarves, fingerless gloves, bags and even coats and dresses. See her beautiful pieces of jewelry made from semi-precious stones, shibori silk  and beadwork. (www.suzannepease.com)

Learn how Judith Smith-Parrot transformed a love of baking into Judith’s Dessert Boutique, now available at restaurants, farmers markets, and Whole Foods (www.judithsdessertboutique.com).  Judith specializes in baked from scratch desserts. She creates tasty treats for the discriminating palate.

You will also enter the DIY Exfoliation Workshop with Renee Marshall-McKinley of KYSS (www.keepyourselfsmellingsweet.com).  Doesn’t your skin deserve to GLOW? The answer is YES! They are so delicious you may try to eat them. You will learn the main components of a scrub, types of oils and fragrances, and you will package your own scrub to take home with you.
